Malone AirFlow2 Universal Roof Rack Installation - 2016 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee we're going to be taking a look at the Malone AirFlow Two Roof Rack System with 50 inch aluminum arrow cross bars, part number MPG215. Now, it's also available with 58 inch aluminum arrow cross bars using part number MPG216.Our AirFlow Two Roof Rack System is going to be a great option to get any of that gear, whether it be dirty, wet camping gear, possibly a bike, out of the inside of our car and making more room for passengers and pets. One of the nicest things about or AirFlow Two is that it's going to be a complete system and it's going to be super fast to get installed. Simply just going to wrap around our raised side rails and tighten a clamp, and it'll be on in minutes.Now, I know a lot of you are going to be wondering how loud it's going to be going down the road. Well, the aerodynamic shape of our bars are going to cut down on a lot of that wind noise and drag, so it is going to be a pretty quiet roof rack. Now, one thing Malone did do as well, is they provided you with some metal lock cores already in there, so we're not going to have to purchase anything extra. more

Yakima Roof Rack Installation - 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima JetStream Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers Y00425, these are the JetStream crossbars 50" long, part number Y00148, these are the SkyLine towers for the Yakima crossbars specifically for fixed mounting points and finally, part number Y00244 and this is the landing pad for the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Yakima JetStream Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your vehicle. This can carry anything from bike racks to cargo baskets to cargo boxes. The bars do have an aerodynamic shape to them and that coupled with the rubber strip up at the top will cut down the wind noise and drag while you drive. Also, when we remove the end cap, you can see that it can be used with T-Track accessories.What makes this different from the other roof rack models out there is you would have to remove the rubber strip up at the top to utilize the T-Track accessories. With this, you simply push the center strip down and then slide them in place. more

Rhino-Rack RSP Roof Rack Installation - 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video
Speaker 1: Today in this 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino-Rack RSP Roof Rack system for flush factory side rails, part number RSP27. The Rhino-Rack RSP Roof Rack is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof, while freeing up space inside your vehicle. Plus it has the added bonus of looking like it's factory installed once it is installed. This can carry anything from bike racks to cargo baskets to cargo boxes, although you are limited with space as to how many things you can load up, since it's cut off at this point here.Now, if you wanted a bar that goes further past that, where you can fit multiple bike racks, per se, then you would have to upgrade to a different style of roof system from Rhino-Rack. This comes as one kit and has everything that you see here: the bars, the legs, and the fit kit that goes inside the flush-mounted side rails. It bolts into place and uses fixed mounts, so you don't have to worry about measuring out from center to center to make sure everything is evened.One thing I would like to note about the installation process is sometimes these can stick out a little bit further when you're initially installing them, so you may have to apply a little bit of pressure to tighten down the bolt in the center here to hold it in place. more

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best roof rack options available for a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This is going to be with an E-group package. Right now, we have our four different styles, from our four manufacturers here; starting with Yakima, Inno, Thule, and Rhino Rack.First, let's go ahead and start with some of the basic differences between these bars. With both the Thule and the Yakima, we're going to have an aero-style bar, meaning it's going to be thicker at the front, smaller at the rear, and that's going to help out with aerodynamics while you travel. That's going to be the same with the elliptical style, which is going to cut down wind noise and drag, as well.However, with the Inno, we have the square bar style. Now, that is going to make some noise while you drive, however, you can purchase fairings to attach to the square bars to cut down that wind noise and drag and take some of that away while you drive.With the Yakima, the Thule, and the Rhino Rack, we can use T-track accessories. more

With the RoundBars, you may experience some noise while you drive, but Yakima does offer fairings, which you can find on etrailer.com to cut down that wind noise and drag as well. Also with our end caps here, we do have plastic knockouts that can be removed and replaced with the Yakima SKS lock systems, which are sold separately. Once we remove our end cap here, you can see at the top we can use T-Track accessories with this roof rack system. However, because of how the end caps are, you do lose a little bit of that extra space you may have when you use the longer bars. more

The Thule aeroblade edge is a great roof rack for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space in your vehicle and it has a nice factory roof look to it. It can carry bike racks, cargo baskets, cargo boxes, ski and snowboard carriers, and with the rubber strip on the top combined with the aerodynamic shape of the bar, will cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving.The two bars have a combined carrying capacity of 165 pounds, though you always should double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. Once you remove your end caps, you can see that it is available to be used with T track accessories. Putting that back into place, it also has the knockouts to replace it with the Thule lock core system so you can actually have key to like locks with both your roof rack as well as your rooftop accessories.Now that we've gone over some of the features of the roof rack system, let's go ahead and show you how it installs. more

Rola Sport Series Roof Rack Review - 2017 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Cherokee, you're gonna be taking a look at the Rola Sports Series Roof Rack with REX mounting systems for flush factory side rails in silver. Part number 59682.Our Rola Roof Rack is gonna mount to our factory side rails and it's gonna allow us to mount a wide variety of accessories, maximizing our cargo-carrying capacity.Now, we all know that roof rack systems can cause a little bit of noise when we're driving. But that's where the elliptical shape of our crossbars is gonna come into play. It's not only gonna reduce wind noise and drag, but it's also gonna give us a low profile design.The rubber strip up here is not only gonna give us a nice contact point for our gear to mount up to, but also, we put the included key and remove the end cap, we can remove the weather stripping and expose the T-track to put in any T-track accessories that we'd like.Our crossbars are gonna be made of an aluminum construction, which means it's gonna be nice and easy to lift up and get them in place and they're also gonna be anodized, so they're not only gonna look good for a long time, but they're also gonna be rust-proof.The crossbars themselves are gonna be 3 1/8" wide by 1" tall. Now, the overhang from our factory side rail here is gonna be roughly about 4 1/2". With that, we're gonna have plenty of room to mount plenty of accessories, but we're also not gonna have to worry about hitting our head when we're getting in and out of our Jeep.Our crossbars are gonna have a minimum of 27 1/2" of spread that they're gonna need to be mounted. more

Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2017 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Cherokee we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Thule Complete Cross Road Kit with 58" long bars and locks, part number TH45058. So here's what our Cross Road Roof Rack looks like when it's fully installed. This is going to free up a lot of space on the inside of our car, allowing us to mount it to the roof and making more room for passengers and pets.Now our system is designed to mount directly to your factory side rails and instillation is going to be super easy, because it's already pre-assembled so we're not going to have to put it together. One of the features you're really going to appreciate is the rubber coating that's going to be on the bottom of our foot pack. It's going to keep it not only secure, but it's going to prevent any kind of scratches or abrasions on our side rail, as well as this strap that's going to wrap around and keep our roof rack secure to our side rails. It's a rubber coated steel strap, so not only is it going to grip well and keep it from scratching our side rails, but it's also going to last a long time.Now our bars are going to be 58" long, which means we're going to have plenty of room to mount several different kinds of accessories, like bike racks, kayak carriers, or even a cargo box. more

Rhino-Rack Backbone Roof Rack Mounting System Installation - 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Speaker 1: Today, on our 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be installing the Rhino Rack Backbone roof rack mounting system, part number RRRJKB1. Basically, what the Backbone system does is it reinforces the structure of your Jeep's hardtop to allow you carry more weight on your roof without interfering with the removal of your freedom panels. To do this, it has internal brackets installed around the window frames to bear the weight.It has six platforms, which can be used to mount up to three Rhino Rack heavy duty or Vortex Aero Crossbars, as well as the fit kits for them, which are sold separately. Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack Installation - 2008 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today on our 2008 Jeep Liberty we'll be taking a look at and showing you how install the Rhino Rack Roof Rack System. This is going to consist of part numbers RRVA137B-2, that's going to be our Rhino Rack Vortex Crossbars. These are also available in silver, part number RRVA137S-2. And part number RRSX001, that's going to be our SX Series Legs for our crossbars. The Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar System is going to be a raised roof rack to fit your vehicle accessories, whether those are bike racks, kayak carriers, cargo baskets, or ski and snowboard carriers. The aerodynamic shape of our crossbar is going to help to reduce wind noise and drag, and removing our end cap we can see our included whether strip that's easy to remove to accommodate channel mounted accessories. It can also be easily cut down. The foot pack is going to grip onto your raised rail and have rubber on any portion that will touch your vehicle to help prevent scratches or abrasions. more

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2016 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Today on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee, we're going to be test fitting the Thule roof rack system, consisting of part numbers TH7501TH7502. These are the Thule aeroblade edge roof racks for factory raised side rails. These are aluminum in color, we also have them in black as part number TH7501BTH7502B. We have the front one installed already. The bars themselves have a nice aerodynamic shape to them, which is going to cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving. It also has a nice factory look to it once it's installed. more

Inno Roof Rack Review - 2016 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Today on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee, we're going to be test fitting the NO Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers INB117. These are the NO square cross bars and part number INFR and these are the NO feet for the square cross bars, particularly for factory raised side rails. We already have our front one installed. These are nice, sturdy bars and once the other set is actually installed, it's going to have the carrying capacity of 220 pounds. Although you'll always want to double check with your vehicles instructions to make sure that it can withstand that weight on the roof. We also have these end caps here with these locks already installed, so once you install this onto your roof, you can lock it into place and it's secure, plus you can use this with other vehicles that have factory raised side rails. Inno Roof Rack Review - 2016 Jeep Cherokee INXB100-108- Video
Today on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee we're going to be taking a look at the Inno Aero Crossbar Roof Rack System, comprised of part numbers INXB100 and INXB108, those are going to be the crossbars, and then the Inno Flush Feet, part number INXS100. Now, this is designed for factory raised side rails as you can see, and we have the front one already installed. It has a nice aerodynamic shape, which is going to cut down wind noise and drag. With the 2 bars together, you have a weight capacity of 165 pounds, although you want to double check with your manufacturer's manual to make sure your vehicle can take those weights. Also at the end here we have these lockable end caps, and that's going to ensure security and deter theft and tampering with your rack once you have it installed. Today, on this 2006 Jeep Renegade, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Roof Rack System, consisting of 2 part numbers, the AeroBlade Load Bars, which are aluminum, part number THARB53, and the Thule Rapid Crossroad Foot Pack, part number TH450R. As I said, these are aluminum bars, but they do also come in black, part number THARB53B. As you can see, we have the front one installed. It has a nice aerodynamic shape here. Today on our 2016 Jeep Renegade, we're doing a test fit of the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars. The part number for the crossbars we're using today is RRVA126B-2, and for our SX series legs, we're using RRRSX005. Now we already have our front crossbar here installed on our vehicle, we're going to show you how to put the last foot pack onto our crossbar and load the crossbar up onto our vehicle. We've got that one side on, we'll just take the other, we'll make sure that it's completely open there so this piece is going to fit over the nut, then we can slide into that channel on our crossbar, and we can load it up on our vehicle. Now the other things that you see here are all included except for the flat tape. You will have to provide your own. We'll just move this off to the side. more

Rhino Rack Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform Rack. This is 58 by 47 inches, and the weight capacity for it all depends on your vehicle. So make sure that you check your vehicles instructions, and then subtract the weight of the carrier. Part number for this is RR42115BF. Now we already have three of our four mounts in place and secured down, we're gonna show you our back passenger side here. Just gonna set all our pieces up top, and I'll step up here so we'll start by loosening up this bracket it at the top and getting that plastic bracket to loosen up from it. more

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2005 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today on our 2005 Jeep Liberty we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Aeroblade Roof Rack System. This is going to be your Thule Aeroblades with the crossroads foot packs. This is going to be part number THARB53, and foot pack will be TH450R. We'll show you how that's all put in place, as you can see the other one's already up there, so we'll show you how to put it up there as well. Flip it over, remove the cap off the end by swiveling out, pressing in the little tab there, and pulling out. Next take your foot pack, remove the end cap with the tool built into it. Undo the strap, make sure it's loose, and slide it inside the T-tread. more

Inno Aero Bar Installation - 2015 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Cherokee, were going to be doing a test fit of the Inno Aero Base Rack. This is going to be your rooftop-mounted rack thats going to go on top of our factory rails that we have here today. As you can see, weve already got one installed and the part number is INXB108 which is going to be the front bar thats already installed. This bar here is going to be INXB100 which is a shorter bar because the factory rails narrow at the backside. Were going to have our feet which are going to be INXS100. These are all going to be all of our feet pads together to combine our whole Inno Aero Base Rack. To put it all together, you can see we already got one side on over here. more

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2015 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Cherokee we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule AeroBlades, part number THARB53 as well as the foot pack for the Aero Blade Rack System for the Fit for this vehicle which is going to be part number TH450R. If we take a look at the foot you'll notice that it does come with the tool already connected and it will be a nice sleek foot pack. Let's go ahead and put it on here or get it put on here and show you how it fits on the vehicle like we have the black one. When first putting it on you're going to pull off the end cap, like so. Place the grooves inside the channel and this vehicle make sure you check with the Fit Guide from Thule or the manual that you have. Where everything needs to be set for your particular Fit. In our case we're going to kind of we're just going to make the bar spread between 24 and 32 inches. On the bar since there is a quite a bit of room and it comes out pretty soon, where you can move from side to side. For our bar spread we're going to go 32 inches. more
